Chimney Cleaning, done the honest way
A chimney sweep removes the creosote and debris that build up in the flue every time you burn. Creosote is what chimney fires are made of, and it builds faster than most people expect. If you burn wood regularly, the flue should be swept every season.
Our cleaning is not a quick brush and go. Drop cloths down, the fireplace sealed, the flue swept top to bottom, and everything vacuumed with a HEPA filter. Then we inspect every part of the chimney and hand you a written report with photos. If it is fine, we tell you it is fine.
Signs you need this
- You burn wood more than a few times a season
- You cannot remember the last sweep
- A smoky or campfire smell in the house, especially in summer
- Black flakes in the firebox or on the damper
- You just bought the house
